Next time you’re walking down the street, just imagine the history that has transpired beneath your feet. And if you can’t, photographer Sergei Larenkov has an erriely facinating Photoshop technique to help.
He took photos of what appears to be St. Petersburg during WWII and superimposed contemporary photos from the same angles. The result is a haunting collection of photos posted on the Fima Psuchopadt blog.
